3rd District

  

As Stephen Coblert would say (from his old days on the Colbert Report) welcome to the "fighting" 3rd District! The 3rd District includes: North Campus of Cornell University; a small part of Collegetown; Belle Sherman neighborhood; and South Hill north of Coddington Road. Two elementary schools are included within the district: Belle Sherman and South Hill.

Becoming a part of one  the Fall Creek listserv, which currently reaches 1600+ residents, is a great way to keep up on community news, including my updates about county government.
Members share everything from missing cats to community events, service recommendation requests (like plumbers, dentists, etc.) to the occasional political comment, though the goal is to focus on information.
When you sign in you can opt to receive all emails as they come in, get a daily digest, or no emails. I recommend the daily digest so that the incoming mail does not get overwhelming.
I use the listserv to post community events, updates of county news, county meeting minutes, budget information and other legislature highlights.
All that information will make its way to this site, but it will hit the listserv first. If you want to be in the know, the listserv is the best way to make that happen. Click the link embedded in the box below to get signed up.
